Weymouth Design's work on the First Act (Boston, MA) interactive Guitar Builder was featured in the December 2006 edition of the digital magazine Website Design Awards. The site was established to promote and award websites that exhibit outstanding design qualities.
The Guitar Builder is an interactive Flash application that guides the user through the multi-step process of designing their custom dream guitar. The Guitar Builder is featured on a kiosk in First Act's Boston store, and on the guitar producer's website, newly redesigned by Weymouth Design. All pricing and part information is dynamically populated through external XML files, providing flexibility and control for updates.
